Our Homestudy is Approved

Posted by Kristen Alldrin on February 08, 2009 to Adoption blog

Our homestudy is approved and off to the USCIS, which is the Dept. of Immigration.

I just heard from our social worker this afternoon that our homestudy is approved. She is going to have it notarized and send it off to USCIS. We will be eagerly anticipating a phone call to schedule our fingerprint appointment!

Our agency has recently expanded its transition home in Ethiopia and is able to process more referrals. This *could* mean a shorter wait time for a referral. God has all the timing under control and we know that He will bring us the right children at the right time.

Please continue to pray for us and for our future new kids!
