Hundreds (thousands?) of folks showed up at the Redding Sundial Bridge to protest our ever-growing government. Some of the signs were hilarious!

"Keep Your Change" sign firmly in-hand, the Alldrin family (and Kristen's folks) participate in the TEA Party rally.

We attended the local tax day TEA party last night. It was a good government/civics lesson for the girls and made us feel better. We owed money this year, which was not good news for us with the pending adoption!

Anneliese just loves to be around a lot of people, so she was very excited. Life is a party to her, whether there is tea involved or not. She jumped up and down and yelled, "This is my first protest!" Makes a parent proud!

Mackenzie was glad to be able to attend and voice her opinion, but was a little concerned about getting in trouble. I assured her that we would probably not end up in the pokey.

Emily and Jillian liked seeing Grandma and Grandpa there and going to Coldstone afterwards. Emily had a coupon for a free ice cream in honor of her birthday, so we took advantage of that.
