Most of us imagine our anniversary celebration as a romantic, quiet getaway. Not for us (at least not this year). Instead, we decided to take the girls to see "UP" in the theater on our anniversary. In 3-D, no less!
So we donned our stylish glasses, scarfed two huge buckets of popcorn and enjoyed a really good movie. If you haven't seen "UP" yet, it's another great story and adventure from Pixar. You'll love the characters and the action, and the subtle 3-D effects really add depth to the movie. It's sad and touching in a few parts, too (even in 3-D). Six thumbs way, way up!
Last night, we presented the girls with their report cards in a short promotion ceremony. Their reports listed grades, activities, books they read, and a summary of their performance for the year. Each girl really loved her "moment in the spotlight" as we read her report aloud. A new tradition is born!
