Emily's piano recital went very well!
Emily's piano recital was fun for all of us. She loves to play the piano, and it shows. If you watch the video, you can see her trying to stifle a smile before it breaks out. We asked her later why she tried to hold back her smile, and she said, "because I was going to laugh!".

This reminds us of a funny conversation that happened on the way to Anneliese's post-season soccer party several years back. We told the girls that we were going for pizza and trophies, and the dialog unfolded like this.
Emily: "Can I have a trokie?"
Mom: "Emily, Anneliese is getting a trophy because she was on the soccer team."
Emily: "Can I have a bite of Anneliese's trokie?"
