We get a covert peek at the kids

The International Evangelical Church, Outside
With services in a number of different languages throughout the week, this church lives up to its name.
We went to church this morning, and just happened to end up at the same church and service as the older kids from the transition home. How did that happen?
Truth be told, we had arranged a covert op to lay eyes (and lenses) on our kids. The folks at America World didn't say we couldn't go to the same service, so... We didn't want to compromise the magic of "meetya" day tomorrow, so we laid low.
It was great fun to see the kids (about 18 of 'em) pile out of a small minivan and go into the church. We were able to watch them sing and pray from the balcony, and I was able to shoot some video. What a blast it was to see them! We can't wait until tomorrow when we actually get to meet them.
We may go out and get some authentic Ethiopian food tonight, but nothing's in stone. If there's anything we've learned here, it's the importance of remaining very flexible. If you can't bend, you'll break!
